产品描述:
The USP18 antibody was derived from the rabbits immunized with the recombinant human USP18 protein (18-118aa). This rabbit anti-human USP18 polyclonal antibody was demonstrated to recognize human, and mouse USP18 proteins in ELISA, WB, IHC, and IF applications. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity.
The target protein USP18 mainly regulates the immune response to viral infections and other inflammatory stimuli by deISGylating target proteins and inhibiting the interferon signaling pathway. Mutations in the USP18 gene can lead to autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and type 1 diabetes, as well as susceptibility to viral infections.

功能:Involved in the negative regulation of the inflammatory response triggered by type I interferon. Upon recruitment by STAT2 to the type I IFN receptor subunit IFNAR2 interferes with the assembly of the ternary interferon-IFNAR1-IFNAR2 complex and acts as a negative regulator of the type I IFN signaling pathway. Also regulates protein ISGylation. Can efficiently cleave only ISG15 fusions including native ISG15 conjugates linked via isopeptide bonds. Necessary to maintain a critical cellular balance of ISG15-conjugated proteins in both healthy and stressed organisms.; Has enzymatic a...显示更多
