DDX5,即DEAD盒解旋酶5,别名P68。它是一种依赖ATP的RNA解旋酶,属于DEAD盒解旋酶家族成员之一,主要分布在细胞核内。DDX5的作用机制涉及催化双链RNA解旋,参与基因转录的正负调节以及mRNA、rRNA和miRNA的合成、剪接和加工等过程。DDX5对多种转录因子具有激活作用,影响细胞增殖、分化、细胞骨架重塑和细胞凋亡等,同时在肿瘤细胞的发生、侵袭和迁移中发挥作用,是影响肿瘤相关信号通路的关键因子。此外,DDX5的功能缺失可通过影响microRNA 125b的表达水平,上调非经典PRC1复合物里的RYBP,进而影响体细胞重编程过程。
