SLC7A11

SLC7A11,即溶质载体家族7成员11,别名xCT、CCBR1。SLC7A11编码的蛋白质是胱氨酸/谷氨酸反向转运体(SystemXc-)的关键组成部分,主要负责将细胞外的胱氨酸运输进细胞,以换取谷氨酸。这一过程对于维持细胞内谷胱甘肽(GSH)水平和保护细胞免受氧化应激诱导的细胞死亡至关重要。
SLC7A11不仅与细胞的营养依赖性和氧化应激反应有关,也是肿瘤治疗的潜在靶点。SLC7A11在多种肿瘤中高表达,并与肿瘤的生长、预后、转移与治疗密切相关。SLC7A11的高表达增加了肿瘤细胞对氧化应激刺激的敏感性,并且可能通过抑制铁死亡来促进肿瘤生长。
